Adult Learning Projects

Community Learning Resources & Videos: To ensure that community members that support our clients were provided with the most up-to-date information, I lead a team that developed a course to support their empowerment. By providing a variety of resources, the collaborative team ensured that these community members were able to advocate for their own students.

College Level Composition Courses: Providing instruction to college-level clients is one of my passions. Having given courses at the university and community college level, I enjoy the opportunity to share literature and writing pedagogy with students of all ages. Below are the course calendars for Freshman Composition I and II courses.

Professional Development: Throughout the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to provide hundreds of professional development sessions. From supporting adults who are parents or serving in administrative positions at the campus and district level, I have spent significant time tailoring instruction to support the needs of adult learners. Below are examples of this work, in particular for serving clients who have special education needs as well as ensuring culturally-sustaining practices in learning environments.
